Habitat:
Widely distributed, and abundant in both lakes over variable substate in 0-3 meters of water. Common assoc.: (Myriophyllum sibiricum) northern water milfoil, (Potamogeton pusillus) small pondweed, (Potamogeton praelongus) white-stem pondweed, (Potamogeton gramineus) variable pondweed, (Vallisneria americana) wild celery, (Najas flexilis) bushy pondweed, (Ceratophyllum demersum) coontail.
Occurrence Remarks:
It was dominant in little lake in June, but had largely disappeared by August.
