Seepy, peaty, organic soil, in full sun. Well-used beaver trails run along each side of this population. Assoc. include: Dulichium arundinaceum, Agrostis hymale, Lycopus uniflorus, Juncus effusus, Triadenum fraseri, and Spiraea tomentosa.
Dense colony of about 20 m sq., extending to within 3 m of this small shallow lake. Not seem elsewhere along shoreline of this lake. [UWSP141924 & UWSP143320 apparently part of the same collection: - collection data identical]
