Occurrence Remarks: Rare being found in a few locations in north bays. ID based on Crowe and Hellquist. Other authors consider this taxon synonymous with S. chlorocarpum. It has many fewer leaves (erect and floating) but may be an aquatic growth habit of S. chlorocarpum.
