Locality:
United States, Wisconsin, Vilas, Conver Twp., ca. 2 mi. WNW of Conover; small tributary to Tamarack Creek; Vilas County Forest.

Habitat:
Wetland drained by small tributary to creek. Most of the area is northern wet forest of tamarack, black spruce, and sphagnum. There are open pockets and ponds along creek and boggy areas along the confluence with creek.
Occurrence Remarks:
Peatlands Project. I collected Epilobium sp. in various locations within these habitat types. Some are E. leptophyllum and some may be E. palustre.
