Habitat: Southern bottomland hardwood forest, near or at border of oxbow.
Associated Species: Major dominants Acer saccharinum & Ulmus americana; prevalent ground layer spp. Cinna arundinacea, Impatiens capensis, Laportea canadensis, Leersia virginica, Lycopus uniflorus, Pilea pumila, Rudbeckia laciniata, Solidago gigantea; also Bromus latiglumis, Elymus riparius, Lobelia siphilitica, Persicaria sagittata, Symphyotrichum prenanthoides.
Occurrence Remarks: Collected as part of the Third Annual Wisconsin Botanical Foray.
