Habitat: Growing in an uncanopied boggy ditch. Growing with Thuja occidentalis, Typha latifolia, Salix sp., Leucanthemum vulgare, Carex flava, C. vulpinoidea, Vitis riparia, and Platanthera aquilonis.

Occurrence Remarks: Fairly common. First county voucher?; Plants with spikes of pale bluish-purple flowers.
