Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Iowa, Spring Green- South side of the Wisconsin River approx. 0.2 mi. down stream from the Hwy 23 bridge. Approx. 2 mi. south of Spring Green

Habitat: Wisconsin River flood plain forest. Mostly closed canopy primarily of Acer saccharinum but with some Betula nigra, Celtis occidentalis, Ulmus americana. Ground layer of Polygonum pensylvanicum, Leersia virginica, Echinochloa muricata, Bidens tripartita, B. frondosa, Chelone glabra. Numerous areas of bare soil and standing water.
