Habitat: On mucky organic soil of seedy wetland that feeds a small stream back to the river. Under moderate shade of Fraxinus nigra. Diverse vegetation also includes Carex bromoides, Carex tuckermanii, Calth palustris, Symphyotrichum ontarionis, Laportea canadensis, Impatiens capensis, Boehmeria cylindrica, Leersia oryzoides, and Glyceria striata.
