Habitat: Previously farmed areas along small creek, brushy areas with Cornus racemosa, Rhamnus cathartica, Ilex verticillata, Quercus macrocarpa, Impatiens capensis, Solidago canadensis, S. gigantea, Arctium minus, Galium asprellum.
Occurrence Remarks: Erect but the very bases always curved and rooting; stems turgid and succulent. Branches and petioles with slight tinge of pink.
