Habitat:
In long-untended lawn of house, the slope above old Hwy. 80 with Acer saccharm, Juglans nigra, Fraxinus americana, Tilia americana, all native in the woods on slope.
Occurrence Remarks:
Spontaneous. Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw, MEXUw, RSAw.; Tree 20 m. tall, 45 cm. in diameter. Wood pale, creamy uniform without strong color differentiation into sapwood heartwood. Fruit abundant, the wings dry and tan, the seed portion green.
