Habitat:
Soybean field with much Amaranthus tuberculatus around the edge and within the field in a strip where probably not treated with glyphosate. Soybean field on other side of Hwy. 61 is entirely free of this species.
Occurrence Remarks:
Erect herbs to 2 m. tall. Staminate plant; stems yellow green with red mostly only around the nodes.
