Habitat:
Along trail. Rare, several seen in this stretch of trail, scrubby woods with Prunus serotina, Fracinus americana developing in old field and planted grove of Picea glauca, P. abies, Pinus strobus.
Occurrence Remarks:
Slender shrub, 1.5 m. tall, with single stem 1.5 cm. in diameter in a clump with smaller replacement stems. Inflorescences in bud.
