Thin floodplain woods with marshy openings, Acer saccharinum, Salix nigra, Ulmus americana, Populus deltoides, Quercus bicolor, Fraxinus pennsylvanica. With Rumex verticillatus, Carex lupulina, Iris virginica, Ribes americanum.
Occurrence Remarks:
1.3 m tall, erect. Corolla held slightly above the horizontal, pink-lilac with spots in the white throat.
