Habitat: Marshy floodplain of Willow Creek, mostly about 2.5 m above normal water level. Carex spp., Phalaris arundinacea, Hasteola suaveolens, Impatiens capensis, Rudbeckia laciniata, with some Acer negundo, colonies of Salix exigua, and latge trees of Salix x fragilis at edge of creek.
Occurrence Remarks: Several loose patches in unshaded areas. Flower creamy, with pleasant light sweet fragrance.
