Habitat: Steep S-facing bluff prairie with many loose dolomite rocks. With very old remmnats of fence at the bottom so undoubtedly once grazed. Only two Juniperus virginiana and no sign of stumps of burning so this bluff prairie was never overgrown with Juniperus and then restored.
Occurrence Remarks: Rare, small patch at brushy edge. Inflorescence nodding.
