Habitat:
Common in moist opening next to small, shallow seepage lake. Sandy, peaty soil. Several small patches occur on east side of the lake as well.
Associated Species:
Site dominated by Calamagrostis canadensis. Other associates include Rubus strigosus, Solidago canadensis, Fragaria virginiana, Anemone canadensis, Lycopus uniflorus, and scattered Cirsium mutiucm.
Occurrence Remarks:
Flowers yellow.
