Abandoned/ retired agric. land, associated with old field menagerie including Solidago rigida, on eroded Rockton soil (20-30 in. of loam till over dolomitic limestone w/ exposed sand in places), in full sun-minimal shade from scattered adventive trees of Juniperus virginiana & Ulmus pumila.
Occurrence Remarks:
Large patch 45 x 15 ft; smaller round patches 6 ft in diam. near bike path. Lat./long. approximate but close.
