Habitat:
Flat, sandy, old field, now unused and scheduled for commercial development, grassy, with Asclepias syriaca, A.verticillata, Verbena stricta, Melilotus alba, M. officinalis, a few small Ulmus pumila and Rhus cf. typhina. Only a few aggresive native prairie species (prairie plants have been planted on recently constructed embankment of Hwy. 18).
Occurrence Remarks:
Rare, on bare river sand brought in for construction.
