Habitat:
Flat, sandy, old field, now unused and scheduled for commercial development, grassy, with Asclepias syriaca, A. verticillata, Verbena stricta, Melilotus alba, M. officinalis, a few small Ulmus pumila and Rhus cf. typhina. Only a few aggressive native prairie species (prairie plants have been planted on recently constructed embankment of Hwy. 18).
Occurrence Remarks:
Flowers yellow. Growing with and shorter than no. 65222 Melilotus albus.
