Habitat:
A very large (ca 1000ac), good quality Northern Wet-mesic Forest dominated by white cedar (7-10in dbh, max >20in), which provides ca 70% canopy cover. Soil is >3ft of peat (pH=7) over loamy sand (pH=8). Alder cover is ca 15%. Typical groundlayer spp: Coptis trifoliata, Rubus pubescens, Carex leptalea, Thelypteris palustris, and Trientalis borealis.
