Habitat:
Occurs in black ash-yellow birch seepage swamp where seepage character is more evident. Flowering plants, 3 clumps, on mossy log in partial shade w/ 6 more on draw-down muck in slight channel between clumps of Carex bromoides (each clump w/ 3 to 4 stems). Surrounded by Symplocarpus foetidus. With small seedlings of Impatiens capensis, Pilea sp., Leersia virginica. Also 6-8 clumps about 100m away in shadier seepage channel w/ C. brom and Symplocarpus. Probably occurs thinly elsewhere in seepage swamp.
