Habitat:
Occurs in an open seepage meadow dominated by Angelica atropurpurea and Phalaris arundinacea. Growing at edge of flowing streamlet on muck over sandy-cobbly substrate in full sun. With Rorippa nasturtium-aquaticum, Myosotis scorpioides, Impatiens capensis, Caltha palustris, Epilobium cf coloratum, Rumex orbiculatus. Area was disturbed in past but now staying naturally open. Only a few flowering, mature clumps seen; did not search entire area (50 by 80m).
