On edge of a hardwood swamp dominated by green ash with some swamp white oak and black ash.
Occurrence Remarks:
This swamp very rich in one area but otherwise becoming overrun with Rhamnus cathartica and Phalaris.; Associates: Viburnum lentago, Tilia americana, Cornus racemosa, Rhamnus cathartica
