Habitat:
Locally occasional. In dry sand prarie/oak barrens dominated by Schizachryium scoparium, Andropogon gerardii, Dichanthelium spp. Associated species include Symphyotrichum oolantagiense, Solidago speciosa, Coreopsis palmata, Dalea purpurea.
