Habitat: Plants occasionalin sandy prairie openings on west-facing slope above the St. Croix River. Dry prairie dominated by Bouteloua curtipendula. Associates include Andropogon gerardii, Helianthus sp., Strophostyles helvula, Scutellaria parvula.
