Catalog #: v0390921WIS
Taxon: Thelypteris palustris Schott
Family: Thelypteridaceae
Collector: Christopher Noll; Justin Poinsatte   1
Date: 2018-09-27
Verbatim Date: September 27, 2018
Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Waushara, Poygan Marsh Wildlife Area, slightly west of a cottonwood-dominated berm and the shore of Lake Poygan.
44.1268  -88.9055 +-20m.  WGS84
Verbatim Coordinates: 44.1268, -88.9055
Habitat: Alder Thicket. Common. This Alder Thicket probably exists as a result of disturbance on north and east sides of the survey area involving a large ditch with side-cast spoils where large cottonwood and willow now grow. Significant amounts of RCG and many seedlings of Frangula alnus observed on Alder hummocks portend further degradation. DNR Survey TWPR 34
