Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Vilas, Western portion of Chewelah Lake system, along short, E-W, unnamed dirt road connecting Wis. Hwy. 47 w/ NW-SE unnamed road occupying former Chicago & Northwestern RR roadbed, 6.5 mi. (airline) SE of Manitowish, 6.6 mi. (airline) NNW of Lac Du Flambeau.

Habitat: Dry northern woodland of Populus tremuloides-Acer rubrum-Picea glauca w/ Betula papyrifera, Aronia prunifolia, & the following together under a fir tree: Carex crawfordii, C. intumescens, C. scoparia, Fallopia cilinodis, Potentilla norvegica, Monotropa uniflora, & Solidago gigantea.
Occurrence Remarks: Per. 4–7 per spk. Collected for the 2019 Wisconsin Botanical Foray
