Habitat: Floodplain, mostly a dense stand of Salix exigua, from shore of creek (Cyperus erythrorhizos, C. diandrus, Penthorum sedoides) through small openings with Persicaria punctata, Scutellaria lateriflora, Lycopus virginicus, Sagittaria, to higher areas more like old field vegetation with Galium asprellum, Ribes missouriense.
Occurrence Remarks: Inflorescence arching-nodding. Flowers white.
