Habitat: Floodplain of river, with crushed dolomite gravel forming the roadway and boat landing, on the river side of the railroad, in muddy floodplain with woods dominated by Acer saccharimun and a few Populus deltoides and Rubus caesius (!), Lysimachia ciliata; also with open grassy and muddy areas with Asclepias incarnata, Butomus umbellatus (!), Phyla lanceolata.
Occurrence Remarks: Shrub 1.5 m. tall, with several stems. Fruit turning bright plastic blue.
