Habitat: Growing on mossy, boggy hummocks in the sun or partial sun in the outer edge of the bog. Growing in association with Stellaria longifolia, Thelypteris palustris, Mainthemum canadense, Osmundastrum cinnamomeum, Osmunda regalis, Alnus incana, Betula papyrifera, B. pumila, Thuja occidentalis, Carex disperma, and Comarum palustre.
Occurrence Remarks: Sprawling, white-flowered herb.
