Growing along shaded, moist banks of creek. Growing in association with Cryptotaenia canadensis, Sanicula gregaria, and Cystopteris bulbifera.
Occurrence Remarks:
Common coarse herb with tiny white flowers and stinging hairs growing to 3 ft. tall in a colony.
