Habitat: DNR land on slope, old field or pasture, now grassy and becoming overgrown with small trees and shrubs. Lotus corniculatus, Dactylis glomerata, Bromus inermis, Rosa multiflora, Populus deltoides, Rhus glabra, R. typhina.
Occurrence Remarks: Sheet 2 of 2. Loose clump of 11 stems, 1.5 m. tall, viscid but not at all aromatic. Leaves on lower stem strongly perfoliate, those on upper part of same stem becoming merely narrowed to the base. Corolla red. The fruit seen on 21 Oct. 2017 was orange-yellow.
