Habitat: Marsh with old drainage ditches but now unused for agriculture, with Salix interior, S. petiolaris, S. eriocephala.
Occurrence Remarks: Shrub 1.6 m. tall, with ca. 6 slender stems in a clump, but near road and had been cut off. Pistillate; with S. eriocephala but in younger stage of development.
