Habitat: crushed dolomite gravel forming the roadway and boat landing, on the river side of the railroad, in muddy floodplain
Associated Species: Acer saccharinum, Populus deltoides
Occurrence Remarks: A large population in shade along both sides of the road on the river side of the railroad bridge, forming a mass 1 m. tall, but the plants longer, leaning and perhaps rooting at the tips.; Flowers white. Fruit seems mostly not to be forming completely; carpels nearly free from one another, dark blue and glaucous like Vitis riparia
