See Staff for fruit. Associate Quercus palustris is first collection from Wisconsin, 3 trees seen and two collected sub no. 22071 and 22072. Collector comments: I am convinced that the three trees are native here. There is only a remote chance that they would have been planted at this small, primitive boat landing consisting of a gravel road and gravel parking lot in the Mississippi River bottoms.
