Occurrence Remarks:
Voucher for 2n = 44; longest chromosome 1 micrometer. In addition to the descriptions given in Fernald and in Gleason & Cronquist, the descriptions*, the characters**, and especially the illustrations* given by Nilsson & Snogerup are an excellent match for these specimens; occur very densely by the hundreds
