Flowers: white, 5-parted, 1/4"-1/3" wide, stalked, deeply lobed petals longer than the sepals; inflorescence few-flowered, branched cluster; blooms May-Aug.
Fruits: oval to oblong capsule
Habitat: moist; meadows, woods, forests
