Plants: perennial, submersed aquatic; stems greenish-brown Leaves: whorled, stalkless; finely pinnately-divided into 7-10 thread-like, paired leaflets Flowers: 4-parted, club-shaped winter buds; flowers from the axils of the sharp, deeply-lobed, whorled bracts |
