Plants: erect, perennial, 6"-32" tall forb; slender stems usually less than 1/10" thick Leaves: mostly along the stem, linear, stalkless, usually slightly clasping, entire Flowers: head 1" -1 1/3" wide with 20-50 white to pale blue rays; inflorescence usually wide, short clusters of 1 to a few heads; blooms July-Oct. Habitat: wet, cold; bogs, meadows, shores Conservation Status: Native |
