Plants: perennial, 2"-16" tall, branched, hairless forb
Leaves: lance-shaped; narrowing toward the stem, not clasping, 3/4"-2 3/4" long
Flowers: white to pale red, 5-parted, 1/4" wide, on smooth stalk; inflorescence many, branched clusters (cyme); blooms July-Aug.
Habitat: disturbed sites
Invasiveness: Invasive - Eradicate!
Conservation Status: Introduced - escaped; ecologically invasive
