Habitat:
Young, poor-quality woodland on low sloping sides of damp depression, Ulmus pumila dominant, Fraxinus pennsylvanica subdominant, with Acer negundo-3 dom. & Populus deltoides-4 dom., with Juglans nigra (saplings), Salix exigua subsp. interior, & Lonicera Xbella, Sambucus canadensis, & very sparse herb layer mostly of Apocynum sibiricum (at one spot with Coronilla varia, at another with Phalaris arundinacea).
Occurrence Remarks:
All size classes, very large to small trees.
