Habitat: Acer saccharum stand with mature Populus tremuloides, on gentle slope along FR 1536.
Notes: Shrub 1.4 m. tall, to nearly 2 m. tall here but mostly shorter, this the largest stem seen, 5 cm. in diameter. Wood soft, white. Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw. No flowers or fruits at this time.
