Associated species include: Abies balsamea, Alnus incana, Cornus sericea, Cornus canadensis, Maianthemum canadense, Rubus pubescens, Fragaria virginiana, Galium triflorum, Clintonia borealis, Thalictrum dasycarpum and Carex trisperma.
