Habitat: Sandy, disturbed area, a road used when Pinus was cut and removed for lumber fromt he adjacent plantation a year or two ago, just E of the parking area. With Leptoloma cognatum, Centaurea stoebe, Krigia virginica, Linaria canadensis.
Occurrence Remarks: Specimens from a single plant forming a dense round clump; stems not quite prostrate but not ascending; sap milky.
