Habitat:
Swamp with Larix laricina, Picea mariana, P. glauca, Abies balsamea, Sphagnum, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Ledum groenlandicum, Betula pumila and the edge with Salix lucida, S. discolor, S. petiolaris and Alnus incana ssp. rugosa.
Notes:
Shrub 3.5 m. tall, 3.5 cm. in diameter. Voucher for wood specimens in Kw, Lw, MADw, RSAw. Twigs yellow-green. Leaves glaucous below.
