Habitat:
Watery track through Acer rubrum-Pinus strobus swamp, Carex lacustris locally dominant, with abundant mosses (incl. Sphagnum), ferns (incl. Onoclea), & sedges (Carex debilis, C. echinata, C. grayi, C. lacustris, C. stricta), Alnus incana subsp. rugosa, Aronia melanocarpa, Ilex verticillata, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Rubus hispidus (exceedingly abundant), R. setosus, Scutellaria lateriflora, Symplocarpus foetidus, & Spiraea tomentosa. Slightly uneven (hummocky), springy peaty ground w/ wet depressions, drainage ways, & streamlets.
