Habitat: Swamp with Larix laricina, Picea mariana, P. glauca, Abies balsamea, Sphagnum, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Ledum groenlandicum, Betula pumila and the edge with Salix lucida, S. discolor, S. petiolaris and Alnus incana ssp. rugosa.
Occurrence Remarks: Slender shrub 2 m. tall, 1.4 cm. in diameter. Voucher for wood specimen, Kw, Lw, MADw, RSAw. A few dry partial erect inflorescences with fruit remaining.
