Habitat:
Brushy area with some trees, Quercus ellipsoidalis, Populus tremuloides, floodplain of river, along old railroad, now a bike trail.
Occurrence Remarks:
Shrub 4 m tall, this stem 4.5 cm in diameter, in a tight clump of several stems, with young green shoots ready to replace senescing stems. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Fruit light red, not mature.
