Habitat: Swampy lowland of alder, black ash, with many grassy openings. Wet meadow on old beaver pond, in narrow creek channel of drying mud. Brown sapric peat substrate. With Leersia oryzoides, Carex lacustris, Glyceria canadensis.
Notes: 20 ft. X 3 ft. dense clone. Leaves up to 3/5" wide, light green, flat and keeled to trigonous in x-section.
