Habitat: Narrow valley, slope between woods on upper slope and the dump area. Formerly agricultural fields, now kept in "old field" condition by occasional mowing. Now mostly Coronilla varia (originally undoubtedly planted), with Agropyron repens, and a few plants of Solidago cf. altissima and Aster pilosus.
Notes: Patch from tough rhizome. Several large patches, especially over the landfill mound.
